Here’s an interesting junk email I got, but I have to say I totally agree with it.

Tonight, as I was watching Survivor and eating peanut butter cupcakes, I realized what the problem was with America.  During tonight’s episode there was a femme nerdy guy named Anthony who was in a tribe with a bunch of macho freaks.  He was treated like shit by this Boston douche Rocky.  When tribal counsil came around Anthony was voted out because he wasn’t like the others.  He was a nice guy who didn’t cause trouble, but because he wasn’t a macho asshole like the others he got voted out. 

This is basically how our country is run.  All of the bullies take charge and everyone else has to smile and bend over otherwise they don’t get to play in the reindeer games.  Stop it!  Everyone STAND UP AND LET YOUR VOICE BE HEARD!  Don’t let the loud mouthed minority continue to run our country.  We are being brainwashed.  As long as we continue to drive our BMWs and Mercedes Benz then we think everything is OK.  It isn’t.  Get informed.  Educated yourself.  Get a voice.  Get a clue as to what the government is doing.

A long time ago the wise Roseanne said (and I paraphrase, ‘cuz I don’t remember the exact quote) that if every mother around the world would stop her son from joining the army and just locked him in a closet then there would be no war.  This is what I don’t understand.  A little extreme, but true.  But, honestly, why doesn’t every mother in the world teach her son what is wrong with war?  Teach her son to have empathy and compassion?  Teach her son that love is the right way?  Where are all of the mothers of the world?  Why don’t they all stand up and speak?  Why doesn’t every mother in America who has a son at war march on Washington and demand that their children are sent home immediately?

STAND UP PEOPLE AND DEMAND PEACE!  TAKE BACK AMERICA!  THE TRUTH IS OUT THERE!  SEARCH FOR IT!  FIND IT!

This is my response to the slavery apology debate.  The entire story is below.

First of all, let me start by saying I’m part black, so don’t call me a redneck racist.  My take is that for every black person living in America today slavery was a good thing.  You would not be here today if it weren’t for slavery.  Do you honestly know anything about Africa today?  Would you really rather be living there right now?  Would you really like to live in a hut and have AIDS? 
Have you ever met your ancestors who were slaves?  Why should anyone apologize to anyone who is living today for things that happened hundreds of years ago?  History is full of wars and invasions and genocides.  It’s been going on since the beginning of time.  Why do black people in this country feel they need special recognition for bad things that happened to people they didn’t even know?

Ok.  So I’m like totally on Rosie’s side and the Donald is a bleep, bleep, bleep, but come on.  I’m sick of it already.  Let it go.  It’s over.  Stop it.  Shut the fuck up!  Who cares?  And what the fuck is up with Barbara Walters?  First of all, this bitch is a total hypocrite.  Did she not get all in a tizzy and fire Star Jones last year because Star REFUSED to lie to the public and wanted to tell the truth to everyone?  Didn’t Barbara actually kill all of her journalistic integrity when she said she encouraged Star to lie to everyone and then fired Star when she didn’t?  Who is Barbara to get all upset about it all?  I would have killed to be in that makeup room when Rosie and Barbara went at it. 

Has anyone ever tried the Hair Club for Men?  Don’t bother!!!! It is quite a rip off.  Especially in Los Angeles.  Don’t even bother wasting your time with this shit.  They will try to sell you a toupee for $1500 and then make you pay anywhere from $200-$700 a month to maintain this shit.  That’s what they don’t tell you when you sign up.  In addition, they will try to sell you a program for about $2000 which consists of some shitty shampoo and Minoxidil.  FYI, you can get Minoxidil at a drug store for about $30.  Plus the people are mostly rude and ignorant.

And NO!!! Before you ask I’m not bald.  These are things I just know.

I’m just gonna ramble on now, because this is my first blog posting and I don’t know quite what I’m doing yet and besides…rambling on is what I do best.

This whole Michael Richards bullshit is one of the reasons I decided to start blogging.  What is this shit all about?  Is this what this country has come to?  What exactly did Michael Richards do that was so wrong?  He gave an opinion?  Did he buck this ridiculous trend in this country to be polictically correct at the expense of our constitutionally given freedom?  Is that some kind of crime now?  Please let me know what he did wrong?

Why isn’t Mr. Richards entitled to his opinion?  Just because he’s in the public eye doesn’t mean that he should have to give up every right that the rest of us take for granted.  If Mr. Richards believes that the two men he called “Nigger” were acting like niggers then why can’t he call them out on it.  Why must he apologize for his opinion?  I’m sure that when the two “African-Americans” were heckling Mr. Richards there were others in the audience who thought “I wish those niggers would shut up”.  Just because Mr. Richards vocalized what others were likely thinking doesn’t make him a bad person.  Where is all of the outrage at these two men who were disturbing the show that others had paid their hard earned money to see?  Why were they allowed to get away with acting like common gutter trash and Mr. Richards is villainized?  Why does Mr. Richards have to go on television and act like a little bitch?  Why doesn’t he just stand up and say “I said it! So fucking what.”?

By the fucking way, when did ”Nigger” get to be a swear word?  That’s a bunch of bullshit.  It’s just a word.  What’s with all of this “N-word” shit?  Just say it.  Nigger.  So what?  It’s not that big of a fucking deal.  Nigger was widely used during the 70’s.  It was used liberally on “All in the Family”, “the Jeffersons”, and even “Saturday Night Live”.  Now we have to say N-word.  It’s ridiculous.  You can call a woman a ”Bitch” on daytime TV.  You can say “Shit” on ”South Park”.  But, you can’t say “Nigger” in a comedy club where people have actually paid to be entertained, in whatever fashion that is.

And what the fuck is the deal with talk of compensation?  These two assholes disrupt this comedy show and they get what was coming to them, then they act all offended and want money?  That is bullshit.  So, if I go walking down the street and someone calls me a nigger I should hold a press conference and hire Gloria Allred?  I should sue?  Huh?  And Oh My God!  Don’t let me get started on Gloria Allred.  This chick is fucking nuts.  I have to stop now or else I’ll be here all day ranting about Gloria Allred.
